Hello and thanks so much for dropping by! I'm Kate, the creative driving force here at Kate Smith Jewellery. If I had to list some of the greatest loves of my life, it would be jewellery, people and the perfect cup of tea.....but more about the latter in a moment.
If you are reading this, I know the chances are that you may feel a little overwhelmed by all the jewellery that the internet has to offer, but possibly not that inspired in your search so far?
I get it. You’re looking for jewellery that’s less mainstream and more unique in the way that it's designed and created.
Doing just that has been my absolute passion (in addition to a freshly baked scone, to go with the cup of tea I mentioned earlier) since I set up a makeshift bench in my parents’ garage back in 2000. Twenty years on, my team and I strive to bring the very best in contemporary jewellery to someone like you. Someone who is craving a piece that will be treasured for years to come.
Our workshop (in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter) has been my second home for many years, and it's a place that you can visit to see where your jewellery will be made and discuss all the possibilities available to you. I truly believe that shopping for jewellery should be a pleasurable experience.
Prefer to browse from the comfort of your sofa? My nature inspired collections are available to you through our website. But, even then, I am on hand to answer any questions you might have and lead you in the right direction, helping you choose the best style and design for you.
My jewellery degree taught me how to make jewellery. The last 20 years has taught me it’s not just about that jewellery, it’s about you, the person who will be wearing it. So that’s enough about me. I’d love to get to know you, to share our latest stories, designs and even the odd giveaway with you.
